Last Angling Session And Blog Entry Of 2021, Why I Returned To The Same Spot And What Was The Final Fish Of The Year?

As we say farewell to another year, I was back on the Staffordshire/Worcestershire Canal for my final outing of 2021.

The reason I returned to the exact same spot as yesterday, as well as my final fish of the year, is revealed in the video.

It’s certainly mild at the moment and the fish were feeding well in the couple of hours that I was there.

This will be my final blog entry of 2021. Many thanks to everyone who has been part of the journey.

Combining website and video clicks, I get well into four-figures each day.

You are all appreciated. Have a wonderful 2022.

Today’s tackle and approach:

Greys Prodigy 12’ rod and a Shimano 3500 reel loaded with Maxima Chameleon 4lb line.

There was 4 feet length of 3lb 8oz Drennan Team England joined by a loop-to-loop knot.

The float was a 0.6g Drennan Crystal Waggler. The hook was a Drennan Super Specialist size 18.

I fished the boat channel, with brown crumb and mixed maggots and single white maggot on the hook.
