He Broke The Deadlock, Scored His First Competitive Goal For The New Saints And Was The Post-Match Player Interview

When a penalty was awarded in the 26th minute for The New Saints against Glentoran, it was Declan McManus who placed the ball on the spot and calmly slotted home.

His first goal for the club was a massive one, as it put TNS 2-1 ahead on aggregate and meant that the visitors had to open up more.

Two minutes later it was 2-0 and that’s how the game ended.

The 3-1 overall victory means that The New Saints will be travelling to Lithuania in the next round of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
