Although it’s a very nice afternoon, it wasn’t the case first thing this morning. In fact, as you can see from the lead image, it was a frosty start to the day.
It didn’t affect the fishing though and I caught regularly throughout the session
I recorded a video on the bank that you can watch here.
I fished with a Greys Prodigy 12’ rod and a Shimano 3500 reel loaded with Maxima Chameleon 4lb line.
There was 5 feet length of 2lb 8oz Ultima Virage fluorocarbon joined by a loop-to-loop knot.
The float was a 0.6g Drennan Crystal Waggler. The hook was a Drennan Super Specialist size 18.
I fished the boat channel, with brown crumb and mixed maggots and single maggot on the hook.
