Four Species Of Fish From The Staffs/Worcs Canal And The Importance of Pushing Yourself

I try and fish every day, if I can, and today’s session was made possible by the fact that I pushed myself.

More of that in the video, plus the action as well, from the late afternoon trip to the canal.

I fished with a Greys Prodigy 12’ rod and a Shimano 3500 reel loaded with Maxima Chameleon 4lb line.

There was 5 feet length of 2lb 8oz Ultima Virage fluorocarbon joined by a loop-to-loop knot.

The float was a 0.6g Drennan Crystal Waggler. The hook was a Drennan Super Specialist size 18.

I fished the boat channel, with brown crumb and mixed maggots and single white maggot on the hook.
