Another Day And Another Canal Angling Session At First Light

Another day and another angling session at first light on the canal, it’s becoming quite a habit.

However, it fits in very nicely with where I am at the moment, so I’m not complaining about the repetition.

The video below is from the bank this morning.

I fished with a Greys G Lite spinning rod (4-8lb) and a Shimano DL2500FA reel.

Maxima Chameleon 4lb reel line was joined to 1lb 6oz Ultima Virage fluorocarbon by a loop-to-loop knot.

The hook length was created by a 5mm bead and a size 6 shot. The lead was a 1/4 ounce bomb.

Single maggot was fished on a Drennan Super Specialist size 18 hook.
