Isn’t It Great When Your Plan Comes Together – A Nice Perch On The Bank

Fishing is very much like life – the more time you spend planning and preparing, the more successful you will be.

In the video below, I share my thoughts regarding the short session I did on a lake. As you can see, it all came together and I netted a decent perch.

I only had the one fish, but that’s often the case, especially when time is tight. It’s a fine line sometimes and it’s always good to be on the right side of it.

The tackle I fished with was as follows: Fox Rage Ultron drop shot rod, Fox Rage Ultron 2500 reel, 10lb Sunline braid on reel.

Fox Rage Illusion fluorocarbon 10lb 3oz (2 metres) joined to the braid with a small swivel.

Fox Rage micro jig head 1g size 4 hook. Berkley powerbait 2 inch rubber minnow. All knots (3) blood knots.
