There’s more via the video below, but while iPhones are great for general filming, sometimes you need that extra in certain situations.
One such example is wildlife filming, where a camcorder allows you to shoot at distant.
In addition, as per the lead image, you can capture subjects without getting too close and thus scaring them away.
The butterfly featured is a ringlet, by the way, and I’m certain that with just my iPhone I wouldn’t have been able to get the footage that I did.
I do enjoy nature filming in general, and while the resultant videos may not be as popular as the angling ones that I produce, nevertheless, unless you’re doing it for a living or some other specific reason, ultimately it’s about doing what you want.
