I get occasional requests to make longer videos, well, here’s one in this particular blog entry. Back in time, I did publish more lengthy productions, but that was when I did one a week.
Now that I’m blogging daily, it’s different. That’s why the videos that appear in the entries are shorter in length.
I’m enjoying the current relaxed lifestyle, as far as work is concerned, and as you can see from the opening clip in the video, it’s a very different June indeed to what I normally experience.
Also, as mentioned, here’s the Kinver Freeliners Angling Club 2020 page that I have created.
On to the session in question, I enjoyed it very much and had a number of tench. A beautiful English estate lake at the height of summer and quality tincas waiting to be caught. What more can an angler want?
The tackle that I fished with was as follows: Fox Barbel Special 11’ 1.5 test curve rod and an Okuma Zeon reel.
The reel was loaded with 6lb Maxima Chameleon, with a six inch hook-length of 5lb Drennan Team England, created by a small swivel and an 8mm bead. Above that was a 1/4 ounce lead.
The bait was a Corn-shaped sinker boilie hair-rigged to a size 10 Drennan Boilie Hook. You can see why I went for that bait approach in the video. I loose fed brown crumb and corn.
