It’s always good to see players make debuts, and invariably after doing so, they get interviewed post-match.
During 2019, the likes of Keston Davies, Ryan Harrington and Adam Hughes all fell into that category, as they signed for The New Saints FC,
However, it’s always special when a youngster makes his initial appearance for the first team. There were a number during the course of the year, with Ethan Short the one I’m featuring.
In a behind-closed-doors friendly at the Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground, against Wolverhampton Wanderers U-23s, Ethan made his TNS FC first team debut.
Following the game, we headed for one of the empty changing rooms at the complex, and did the interview, with the Wolves sponsors’ board behind.
Shortly afterwards, along with Josh Bailey, Ethan played his first JD Cymru Premier game for The New Saints. Both of them came on in the second-half, in the game at Richmond Park against Carmarthen Town.
