Oswestry To Aberystwyth, A Life Lesson. Enjoy The Journey And Don’t Just Look Forward To The Destination.

I enjoy travel, and with a considerable number of football-related journeys during the course of a year, that’s good. The latest adventure was from Park Hall, near Oswestry, to Park Avenue, Aberystwyth.

The former is the home of The New Saints FC and the latter, Aberystwyth Town FC. The game in question didn’t feature the Seasiders though but rather Barry Town United, as the venue was chosen to host the FAW Youth Cup semi-final.

A lot of people involved in the world of football really don’t like travelling. I’m the opposite though and I love it. While on the TNS FC team bus, I captured some of the tremendous scenery and you can watch that via the video below.

Like life, don’t focus on things in the future but enjoy the present. There may well be an exciting event in a week’s time, but if all you’re doing is wishing the next seven days away, then you’re not living in the reality of the here and now.

Learn to appreciate and value the present. By doing so, you get far more out of life.
