On A Very Foggy Evening At Park Hall, TNS Ladies Navigate The First Hurdle In The Tom Farmer Cup. It’s A Convincing Win Come The Final Whistle.

It’s always a pleasure to watch TNS Ladies play, and with the midweek game against Bishops Castle Town Women FC fitting very nicely into my schedule, that was in my diary as soon as the game was confirmed.

The Tom Farmer Cup is the Shropshire FA’s flagship competition for the ladies’ game. The New Saints has won the competition eleven times and the trophy currently resides at Park Hall, courtesy of a win against Shifnal Town last May, with the game played at Shrewsbury Town’s Montgomery Waters Meadow stadium.

As you can see from the images, it was an extremely foggy evening indeed at Park Hall. The game went ahead though, although we only played forty minutes in the first period and thirty five in the second.

This was my 64th game of the 2019/2020 season and you can visit my football pages here.
