Although it was dark, I still wanted to give my car a wash, so I filled the bucket as normal and went ahead.
The next morning, I noticed that there were dirty patches everywhere. That’s what happens when you clean your car after the sun has set and you can’t see what you’re doing.
It’s also what happens when we live our life in the dark. We stumble along and the journey becomes a long hard slog at the best of times.
When your eyes are open and your head is clear though, your life is more focused. You’re less burdened and your outlook is more positive. You are more fulfilled and contented.
I chose to clean my car in the dark and I saw the consequences the next morning. Every choice in life has a consequence.
‘So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true.’ Ephesians 5: 8-9
