I’ve been to the Hollingsworth Group Stadium on a number of occasions, since I started working in football, but this visit will stand out above all the others. It was a clinical TNS FC who won the game 12-0 to record the biggest ever away win in domestic top flight Welsh football.
Combined with Connah’s Quay Nomads and Barry Town United both dropping points (they picked up one between them), it means that with a game this coming Tuesday against Carmarthen Town, The New Saints will go to the top of the league if we win.
The video below, embedded from the TNS FC Facebook page, is behind-the-scenes with the champions of Wales prior to kick-off. It covers the players arriving, the dressing room and the players coming out of the tunnel.
It was my 49th game of the season so far and you can visit my groundhopping pages here. Click the images at the head of the page to enlarge.
