Another Day, Another Game. This Time The New Saints FC’s Scholars Welcome An International Academy To Park Hall.

With a game scheduled in the afternoon at Park Hall, I watched on from the press box, as the TNS FC scholars hosted an Academy that is based in England. A look at their website shows an impressive list of ex-players that have featured for the likes of Doncaster Rovers, Hartlepool FC, Leeds United, Sunderland and Watford, among others.

This is something that you find a lot in football, as so many players leave the game with coaching qualifications, they end up working behind the scenes in a variety of situations, looking to stay in the game once they hang up their boots.

I enjoyed the encounter, but then again I get something from every match that I watch. The visitors won 2-1, but they had players much older than the TNS FC scholars.

Therefore it was definitely a case of the result not being important but focusing on the decent performance instead there were plenty of positives.

This was my 46th game of the season and you can visit my groundhopping pages here.
