Back On Track For The New Saints With A 6-2 Win Against Airbus UK Broughton. MD10 In The JD Cymru Premier. Behind-The-Scenes In The Dressing Room.

After back-to-back league defeats, it was important that the reigning champions turned things around sooner rather than later. If you include the Nathaniel MG Cup reversal against Bangor City, it was three losses on the trot.

With Airbus UK Broughton the visitors to Park Hall, the home fans’ nerves were calmed with a convincing 6-2 victory. The opener was scored by Dean Ebbe, followed by four from Greg Draper and one from Chris Marriott, meaning for the third time in ten games this season, the team has scored at least six goals.

It’s very tight at the top and come the close of play, The New Saints moved into second place, although other teams have games in hand. Still, all that matters is the three points on the table. With 22 league games to go, there is still plenty of time as TNS FC look to make it nine consecutive titles on the bounce.

Well before kick-off I went into the players’ dressing room to take photographs and I found Billy Whitehouse in there on his own, so recorded a video that can watch below, via the TNS FC Facebook page.

The lead image was later on as the room was busier. That’s one of the positive things about working in football, you get behind-the-scenes access. You can view the list of games that I’ve been to this season here.
