After driving home from Tal-y-Bont, I had some work to catch up with and then, with less than an hour to go before it was too dark to fish, I arrived at a lake for a short lure fishing session after pike.
The fish that I caught was spotted inches away from the bank in shallow, clear water. I cast to the area and within seconds was playing it. Don’t overlook the margins indeed.
Then it was back home for some more work, off to bed and up bright and early the next morning with lots more travel on the agenda. This time with my friend, the Welsh Cup, but that’s for another blog entry.
