Perch Fishing Late Evening On A Lake.

As you can see from the lead image, it is rather grainy. I do my filming on an iphone and while it is great during the hours of daylight, it fails miserably once we hit dusk and beyond. Still, as it was the first – and last – fish of the session, the image stands.

Once darkness proper descended, I switched from the worm on a size 10 hook that had tempted the perch to a couple of red maggots on a size 16. Although I did have a couple of plucks, they didn’t develop.
