Interviewing Wales U-21 International, Simon Spender, Post-Match Pen-y-bont FC.

The post-match player interview, following the 2-1 victory against Rhys Griffiths’ new boys, was Simon Spender. With Park Hall very busy after the game, we found a quiet corner in one of the rooms and chatted about the game.

On as a half-time substitute along with Aeron Edwards, the two combined for the equalising goal, as Spender’s cross found the head of his team mate who nodded home to cancel the 35th minute opener for the visitors.

Simon has been one of TNS FC’s most consistent players during his years with the club, and as well as a very successful career with the champions of Wales, he has also represented his country up to U-21 level on several occasions.
