Gudgeon And Perch On The Staffordshire / Worcestershire Canal. Why A Gudgeon From That Canal Will Always Be A Special Fish For Me Personally.

With just an hour available on the evening, I headed for a regular haunt of mine, the Staffs/Worcs Canal. I’m happy just to be out on the bank though and regardless of the amount of time I’m fishing, it’s all good.

Although I didn’t see it, in the dense undergrowth behind me I heard a muntjac barking. I did keep my iphone ready though, just in case it put in an appearance.
