Meet Welsh Football Fan, Tim Johnson, Who Has Now Watched Football In Each Of UEFA’s 55 Nations. What An Incredible Achievement.

I’ve known Tim Johnson since I began working in Welsh football. The dedicated Barry Town United supporter is also an enthusiastic fan of the game in general and is invariably seen at TNS FC games when we play in Europe.

A couple of weeks ago I was in south Wales supporting Barry at their Europa League game against Cliftonville, when Tim said to me that he hoped The New Saints would draw KF Feronikeli in the UEFA Champions League.

The reason was that he had been to watch games in 54 out of the 55 UEFA football nations, with Kosovo the missing piece of the jigsaw.

Going to the stadium for the EUFA Delegate’s meeting ahead of the match, we spotted Tim and took him in with us. With the impressive press conference stage behind him, I interviewed the dedicated groundhopper, and you can watch that below.

Fantastic achievement, Tim, I’m genuinely thrilled for you!
