Day One In Pristina, The Capital Of Kosovo. The World Of Football Takes Me To Some Very Interesting Places. Feeding The Tourist Gene.

I enjoy football-related travel, not just for the fact that I’m involved with the beautiful game, but also the travelling aspect itself as well. As I wrote in a recent blog entry from Glasgow, when we were there to play Rangers, I definitely have a tourist gene.

Arriving in Pristina this afternoon, a short coach journey from the airport and we were all booked into our hotel rooms. It’s a very nice place and with a balcony looking out across the city, there’s some footage in the video below.

Of course, I’m here for football but I’m also determined to make the most of the time while in the city. The chances are I will never set foot in Kosovo again during my time on earth, so I’m looking to take in more than just a football game.
