It’s very important, I believe, to make the most of the time that we have. That means pushing ourselves and in this case I was up bright and early for a short session on the canal after bream.
I’ve certainly got the canal bream bug at the moment, and for me, that’s what fishing should be about. Whatever venue, style and species takes your fancy at the time, go for it.
You can see how I got on via the video below, although I didn’t do the two hours that I stated at the beginning but rather half that. I have to take a flexible approach to work and so needed to get back for something.
Talking of work though, this will be the last angling outing for a few days as I’m off to Kosovo for a UEFA Champions League game.
Fishing and football, not a bad life. However, whatever we do the most important thing above all is to make the most of it. And enjoy it, of course, that goes without saying. Life is not a dress rehearsal. This is the real thing.
