First UEFA Champions League Game Of The Season, As We Welcomed FK Feronikeli To Park Hall. Post-Match Interview With The New Saints FC’s Manager, Scott Ruscoe.

After six friendlies for The New Saints FC, the rubber hit the road as the champions of Kosovo played their first UEFA Champions League game outside of the country.

It was 0-0 at the break, but then, with less than a quarter of an hour to go, Wales’ representative in Europe’s senior competition established a 2-0 lead, as Aeron Edwards’ goal from close range followed on from the earlier penalty from Greg Draper.

However, we all know what football is like, and two very late goals from the Kosovans saw them the happier come the final whistle, as they took a 2-2 draw into the second leg.

I produced a behind-the scenes video that you can watch below, with not just immediate pre-match footages and images, but also a BBC interview, the UEFA Delegate’s meeting and live presenting from the stadium with beIN Sports.

This was my 12th game of the season so far and you can view the list to date, via the link below.
