Second New Ground Of The Season, As Shrewsbury Town And The New Saints FC Play A Behind-Closed-Doors Friendly. I Always Enjoy The Visits To Training Grounds, As They Are Good Groundhopping Ticks.

We’re still in June (as I write) and I’ve been to 8 games so far. Working in football gives me the opportunity to visit venues that I wouldn’t normally be able to get to, and that was the case this time round, with a visit to Shrewsbury Town FC’s training ground.

The New Saints FC plays several behind-closed-doors friendlies during the course of a season, and over the years I’ve been to the likes of Aston Villa, Everton, Leicester City, Liverpool, Middlesbrough, Rangers and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

I covered the match against Shrewsbury Town on the TNS FC website and you can read more here. Unfortunately, FA Wales rules mean that we can’t disclose the result, but nevertheless it was a good workout for both sides.
