With most work parties on Sundays, which means I don’t get to attend, I noticed that one planned for midweek was posted on the club’s Facebook group. The convenient day, combined with the fact that I was off work for a week, meant I joined several other members at the Valley View fishery (club only, no day tickets) on the Worcestershire/Shropshire border.
You can see the result of the morning-into-afternoon session via the video below, as new fishing platforms were constructed. Not just a productive time though but also one spent in good company.
I’ve been a member of the club for many years now and not only does the portfolio contain some excellent venues but it also a very well-run organisation. The success of the club is such that there is a waiting list but there’s no harm in adding your name to it.
Visit the club website to check out the waters that are available on the ticket. You will see Martyn Lloyd’s contact details on the home page as well. Martyn is the secretary of the club and is very approachable. He will also be able to answer any specific questions that you may have about Kinver Freeliners Angling Club.
