Dabs On A Midnight High Tide Near Barmouth (1170)

I do enjoy sea fishing very much, and especially when on holiday, I always make the most of every opportunity. Although the tides weren’t ideal, nevertheless you just work around them, as you do with the weather in general.

I had a few bites but landed just the two fish. One of them I initially thought had seaweed on it but it was a skin colour. Whether a natural pigmentation or a disease of some description, I don’t know, as a basic internet search didn’t throw up anything.

Either way, that particular fish was feeding and didn’t seem to be affected and it doesn’t appear, or at least via the internet, to be a problem in the area.

I fished two rods with a total of four baits out, with frozen lugworm the option this time round.
