Late Evening Session After Canal Chub. Push Yourself In Fishing And In Life. Burn On Not Burn Out. (1144)

After a good day at work, I was home while it was still light and that meant a quick change of clothes, preparing a flask, loading the car and being on the towpath with an hour or so to go before dark.

I think it’s important that we push ourselves and make the most of every opportunity that life presents. Not just angling itself, of course, but the bigger picture.

It’s so easy to think that we’ve had a long day and it’s time to sit back and relax. Now, don’t misunderstand me, there is a time for that most definitely but not every day.

I find that by pushing myself, I’m always glad that I did. Instead of giving in to the feelings that say stay at home and take it easy, you go fishing.

Keep pushing yourself but always maintain a balance. Every now and then I have a day where I take it really easy, sometimes I might not even leave the house. In modern vocabulary, I chill out.

It’s good to charge your batteries but I couldn’t do it all the time though, as I like to stay active and get the most out of life. That definitely includes lots of fishing and you can watch the session via the video below.
