Now we’re into January, the countdown to the end of the river season is upon us. Although we still have a couple of months to go the reality is that before we know it, it will be here.
Therefore, I’m looking to make the most of the time over the next few weeks by doing some river fishing. In this blog entry it’s all about chub on the River Severn. The video from the first session can be viewed below.
The venue that I fished is on the Kinver Freeliners Angling Club ticket, with the specific page here. Note that although there are day tickets, fishing beyond dusk is for members only and the policy is policed.
There is a waiting list for the club but if you’re in the catchment area for any of the venues then it’s definitely worth getting your name down.
Then it was back for more of the same in a second session, with the video below capturing some bank side action, although sadly no fish as I recorded my first blank of 2019. As you can see though, it’s all Cardiff City’s fault
