One point in three league games is not something that you associate with The New Saints FC but, following the defeat at home to Caernarfon Town, that’s exactly the situation that we find ourselves in.
From a personal involvement there were pre- and post-match interviews (the latter can be viewed below) plus match day commentary on TNS Radio.
It was my 57th game of the season and ultimately though, beyond results that don’t always go to plan, I have enjoyed them all.
We had a group of 28 Norwegian groundhoppers with us at Park Hall and not only did I collect them from Liverpool, I also collected some gifts that one of them had brought for me. My fishing goes before me!

I was in Liverpool yesterday, meeting 28 Norwegian groundhoppers and taking them to the TNS FC v Caernarfon Town game. My fishing goes before me and one of them brought me a few gifts. It was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated. Be nice to people. I didn’t get home till the early hours so I missed my granddaughter, who stays over with us at weekends. Come the next morning though, we connected.
Whatever disappointments football throws at us, always remember that there are more important things in life.
