Fungi And Birds (995)

A visit to Cardiff and a walk around Bute Park resulted in several fungi species. Perhaps taken for granted by many and even considered a pest, but not by me, a friendly gull (led by its stomach) approached me in the city centre. It was a lesser black-backed gull.

Spotted a kingfisher and a grey wagtail on the River Taff, also in the city centre.

The journey to the capital produced a red kite in Herefordshire.

More fungi spotted in Springfield Park, Kidderminster.

Perched kestrel just outside Wolverhampton on the A41. Stock dove off the A5 in Shropshire near Oswestry.
