Working in the world of football is interesting, that’s for sure, and the term ‘variety is the spice of life’ could most definitely be the tagline as far as my own pathway is concerned.
There’s always something going on and a photo-shoot for the Performance Phase on the pitch at Park Hall was followed by a pre-match press conference with TNS FC manager, Scott Ruscoe.
The game in question was the Nathaniel MG Cars Cup (Welsh League Cup) fixture at Bastion Gardens, the home of Prestatyn Town.
I’ve been there several times before so it wasn’t a new ground, but as far as games this season are concerned, it was number 47. Following on from TNS’ defeat at Cardiff Metropolitan University FC over the weekend, it was also important to get back to winning ways.
The result was a comfortable 5-0 victory in the end and the images in the header include a selfie in the team dressing room ahead of kick-off. Always a selfie.
Following the final whistle I interviewed Scott Ruscoe and Josh Hmami, who not only made his full debut but scored two goals in the process. Prior to signing for The New Saints this season, Josh was at Accrington Stanley, Barnsley and Bolton Wanderers.
