With some thought and planning you can fit a lot more in your life, whatever it is that you want to do. For me, it’s fishing mostly that I have to make room for. Having to squeeze it in with football isn’t exactly a hardship though.
My car is very safe where I park when I’m at The New Saints, especially now that we have relocated to an office block. From my window I can actually see my car outside which means it’s safer to leave tackle on display as opposed to previously when I preferred to keep it hidden in the boot.
On the way back home, taking a detour, I dropped off on a large pit for a few hours up to dark. Fishing with a cage feeder and quiver tip set-up with double maggot on a size 14 hook, I caught a decent roach and a small perch. Like many pits, it’s a hard water but there are some good fish in there.
I’ll be back, especially as although it’s a decent journey from home, tying it in with a working day means it’s not so bad. Thought and planning indeed. It’s the way to go.
