There were some interesting results in the league this weekend, but just one that stands head and shoulders above the others, as far as I’m concerned.
With Cardiff Metropolitan University FC one of just two sides with a 100% record going into MD3, they were favourites to beat newly-promoted Caernarfon Town at home.
However, it was the Coffis celebrating come the final whistle, as a Nathan Craig penalty gave them the three points in a 1-0 win.
With both Caernarfon and Llanelli Town AFC having good starts to the season, it has certainly freshened things up in the early stages.
I am thrilled for the former though with this result. Cardiff Met have established themselves as one of the top teams in the league since their promotion to the top flight and they are always a tough side to beat.
