It’s quite a journey for me to Park Hall the home of The New Saints FC, in fact a three-hour round trip in total. I make good use of the time though by thinking, listening to music, learning Welsh and nature spotting. This time I saw a red kite outside Wolverhampton.
On arrival it was back on the training pitch and another interview with a new signing. This time round it was Connor Roberts, a Wales U21 goalkeeper, who faced the camera.
Then, with the UEFA Champions League draw taking place, that was covered for the club’s media. With five potential opponents for TNS, it was the champions of Macedonia out of the hat, and with the away leg first, that’s a trip to the Balkan peninsula sorted for the second week in July.
A message from BBC’s Nick Southall saw me then travelling to BBC Radio Shropshire and an appearance live on air talking about the Champions League draw. I really enjoyed that. (Listen via the link below)
