Perch, Roach And Rudd From A Shropshire Pool (782)

With a few hours in the afternoon planned on a Kinver Freeliners’ water in Shropshire, I took my camcorder as well as the fishing gear. Hence, this entry is a video-focused one.

The club is very well-run, friendly and has a variety of options to fish. The pool featured in the video is Woodlands One.

For enquiries regarding membership of Kinver Freeliners, or day ticket venues, contact secretary Martyn Lloyd:

You can check out the club website here. At the time of writing there is a waiting list for membership but as they say, good things come to those who wait, and it’s definitely worth getting your name down.

The photographs below are from my Instagram account, it’s a great way of brightening up the blog entries. There are four in total and you can navigate via the embedded post.

Much later than normal due to the fact that winter is very reluctant to let go, I heard my first chiffchaff of the year. In addition, the resident ravens were showing well and were very vocal.

Typical though, whenever I got my camcorder on them, they went quiet. The bird that you can see in flight in the video is a common buzzard. In addition there’s also a male pheasant.
