This time last week I was snowed in with temperatures well into minus. There seemed like no let-up in the harsh weather. That’s what it’s like when you’re going through a hard time, it’s easy to think that you’ll never get through it.
Today though, my drive across Shropshire painted a very different picture. The snow has gone, in fact it’s a distant memory. The sun was out and the blue sky was decorated with friendly clouds.
Just on the drive I noticed an active rookery with birds nesting, two separate carrion crows sitting a nest and a magpie in flight with a twig in its beak.
Just days ago, spring seemed like it would never happen, yet today it was a different scenario entirely.
Going through a difficult time? Hang on in there, things will turn around. They always do. Don’t focus on the present but look to the future. Deal with things and let them go, knowing that something better is around the corner.
