Hello, I’m Stewart Bloor. Welcome to my personal website. I shared my first blog entry on July 5 2003, and after many years of Saturday updates, I now post daily.
I hear many comments about dedication and commitment, and yes, that’s true. However, it’s also a labour of love. I enjoy blogging.
It started out as pure fishing (known as Stewart Bloor’s Angling Journal) but has evolved over the years to the point where it is now a personal blog site that encompasses a much wider range of content. Of course, being a big part of my life, it’s still full of angling-related stuff.
As well as an insight into my own journey in life, my posts are also an attempt to inspire, challenge and encourage. The world itself in which we live, never mind social media, is murky at the best of times. The more light, positivity and hope that we can bring, the better.
You can find out more about me via my BIO page. Why not subscribe to the blog updates? There’s a link at the base of this page. You’ll get an email immediately the latest post is published.
In addition, there is also a search engine below, which is great if you’re looking for something specific. For example, I get regular messages asking me about barbel fishing on the River Severn. Type those words in the box, hit search and you’ll get access to everything I’ve ever written on the subject. The same with everything else.
You can also comment below each post, including this one. I don’t have an official guest book so feel free to add your general comments underneath. You only need to enter a comment, all other boxes are optional.
I’m building a list of blogs written by other anglers. Check them out HERE.
